Maryland Stars Award Scholarships

The Maryland Stars Girls Fastpitch Softball program presented five of their senior players with scholarships to reward them for the hard work on and off the field and their loyalty to the Stars program.

The players played a minimum of two seasons with the Stars, helped with mentoring younger players, worked as summer camp counselors, and displayed all of the attributes of good students, good team mates and good softball players on and off the field.

The player must also complete an application process which includes responding to a couple questions.  Describe what playing for the Maryland Stars program meant to you.  Describe your most memorable moment of playing softball.   Each player’s completed application is linked to her name, below.

Those receiving scholarships included Alina Milauskas (6 season with the Maryland Stars), Breanne Smith (5 seasons), Shayna Rider (3 seasons), Erin Stephey (3 seasons), and Alexa Windsor (2 seasons).
