Fastpitch Softball Camp for Girls, Ages 7 – 13

Looking to improve your skills and have fun? The Maryland STARS Fastpitch Softball Youth Clinic is for you! Learn from one of the best clinicians who ever play the game, Coach Lindsey Ruhle (DI, Mt. Saint Mary’s).

This clinic improves the all-around game play of players ages 7-13.

The basic skills focused on at this clinic include:

• Hitting
• Bunting
  
• Fielding
• Throwing
• Base-running & Sliding
• Fun!

Campers will work in small groups on the basics of both offensive and defensive play. Position play will be specific to the individual player. Groups will be split up according to age and ability. This clinic is a great chance to continue building skills for summer softball.

Pitchers and catchers will receive special instruction.

The camp will be held at Mayeski Park in Carroll County, Maryland during the week of July 10th-14th.

Available Time Slots:
(A) Session 1 – 9am-12pm
(B) Session 2 – 12:30pm-3:30pm

The deadline for early registration is June 25th, 2017. After that, the fee goes up just a touch.  More info, click here.

WYSO Color Run!

Our WYSO Group ID is #120457

Join the fun and help raise funds for a new WYSO field grooming machine. It’s April 22nd after the WYSO Opening Day Parade.

Here’s what STARS players have to do:

1. Go to this site.
2. Click the button “Click Here to Create Your Own Donation Website.” Use our Group ID, 120457.
3. Once you have created your very own Donation Website in Step 2, follow the provided steps to email your Donation Page and share on social media! Players will also be provided a collection envelope to collect cash donations as well.

Non-STARS friends can participate too! They register using the three steps above, or they pay $30 and run with a STARS player.
